Welcome to Quilts From The Attic! I’m Nick, a 28-going-on-12 fabric addict from Cardiff, South Wales. When I’m not knee-deep in fat quarters and bias binding I’m to be found with my nose in a good fantasy yarn, walking our 3-year-old pug Samuel or traveling to a far-flung wedding.
I really look forward to and appreciate any likes or comments I receive, and try to respond to every one. Connecting with others who share my passion is what makes this whole journey so exciting. If you want to travel it with me, sign up to follow Quilts From The Attic and don’t miss a thing.
Thanks for visiting.

I like what I see on your blog a lot. You’re creative, you write well, and you take good photos, which is a refreshing change. I’m nominating you for the Versatile Blogger Award. You may already have received (I had a look around and couldn’t see it), in which case feel free to ignore it. If you’d like to feature it, go here for more information: http://talltalesfromchiconia.wordpress.com/2013/12/18/and-another-one

Hi Nick,
Hope you are well. I would like to contact you regarding an opportunity with a large craft manufacturer. Would you be able to email me back please as I can’t find your email address, then I will be able to provide you with more details.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
Natalie
Oh my gosh, you’re only 28? I don’t know what I thought, but I wasn’t thinking 20’s. I’m almost old enough to be your mom..haha! Just stopping by to say hi to you and Samuel!
great blog Nicholas, I’ve just been reading about your abacus quilt in Quilt Now… am a bit behind with my magazine reading but am psyching myself up for some christmas present making marathons! Not actually made a quilt before – but it is on my list of things to learn next… I can’t wait to get started.
Hi Nicholas, I have been looking for a book on Improv for a while and not found any that really made me go WOW! then yours was recommended by a quilting friend I ordered a copy and could not be more pleased. So many starting points which is what I needed as my ideas were not flowing well. First project will be a denim jacket to wear at the International Quilt Festival in August. Great to find another male quilter and one so young who is able to carry on the ‘tradition’.
